Successful challenge to Relevant Person Status The Inner House of the Court of Session this week issued their decision in the case of CF v MF, GF and Locality Reporter. Our 14-year-old client was successful with a legal challenge to remove her grandparents' Relevant Person Status. The court decided that in this case the Sheriff should have considered the child's views about her grandparents not having significant involvement in her life. Our client is very pleased about the decision and that the judges listened to her and that it went to the highest court. She is grateful for the help and support received from Clan Childlaw which enabled to her to take legal action in her own right. Clan Childlaw Press Release The Judgment can be found here.
